Platelet-Rich Plasma Injection

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) For Tendon and ligament Injury.

PRP is the concentration of platelets derived from the plasma portion of one’s own blood.

PRP Therapy is most effective in the treatment of chronic Tendon and ligament injuries, especially elbow like tennis elbow and other injuries such as knee pain, ankle sprains, and biceps tendinitis.

Facet Injection and Medial Branch Block

Medial Branch Blocks and Facet Joint Injections are quick and precise procedures used to diagnose and alleviate pain originating from the small joints of the spine. Under live X-Ray guidance, low doses of corticosteroids and local anesthetics are delivered directly to the affected area, providing relief from pain in the neck, upper and lower back, and buttocks. These minimally invasive procedures, lasting only five to ten minutes, are performed in-office and require only local anesthesia.

Radiofrequency Ablation

Radiofrequency Nerve Ablation is a minimally invasive procedure performed under live X-Ray guidance to treat back and neck pain. This procedure uses controlled heat to temporarily and selectively disable the nerves responsible for pain. It involves inserting a specialized needle with a heated tip near the problematic nerve; the heat interrupts the nerve's ability to send pain signals. This office-based procedure takes approximately 20 minutes to perform and may be done under local anesthesia.

Epidural Steroid Injection

An Epidural Steroid Injection is a quick, minimally invasive procedure used to alleviate pain in various areas of the body caused by spinal nerve irritation. By injecting corticosteroids directly to the affected area, inflammation is reduced, providing long-lasting pain relief. The procedure takes only five to ten minutes and can be done in-office under local anesthesia.

Occipital Nerve Blocks

Occipital Nerve Blocks are safe, office-based procedures used to treat various types of headaches, including migraines. A local anesthetic with or without a small dose of corticosteroid is used in this injection, which is administered to the back of the head near the greater and lesser occipital nerves. This procedure takes about 5 minutes to complete.

Interventional Pain

Procedures Under X-Ray Guidance:

Our goal is to relieve pain without the risks of surgery, general anesthesia, and hospital stays without the headache of long-term recovery. Our pain management center will determine the most appropriate interventional procedure for each patient. Subsequently, we will administer that procedure to achieve the greatest possible pain relief. We are pleased to offer a range of interventional treatment options.
